TERMS & CONDITIONS.
These terms and conditions apply to makeup services provided by Kate Devlin ACN: 663 078 859 to you. Upon booking a makeup application with Kate Devlin, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
To secure your wedding date a non refundable holding fee of $220 is to be paid. Upon receipt of payment of this deposit, your booking is confirmed. Bookings require a minimum of 5 makeup applications for artist to come onto location.
DEPOSITS
Holding fee: $220 (covers the cost of the makeup trial)
50% deposit of total invoice is due within 1 week of trial
Remaining balance is due 1 week prior to wedding day.

Please note that all deposits are non refundable if your wedding is cancelled within 8 weeks of the date. Please enquire if you would prefer to pay in cash for your wedding as I offer a 10% discount.
PRICING
Pricing for weddings is charged at a flat rate per person. The price includes false lash application and touch up.
MAKEUP TRIAL
Your makeup trial will take 1. hour and 15 minutes to complete. Trials must be booked at least 8 weeks out from your wedding day, please email to book your trial. If your trial is not completed within 8 weeks of your wedding date, your invoice for 50% payment will be sent through at this time. Wedding trials can be booked on any day of the week subject to my availability.. A makeup trial is $200 + gst and are conducted in my studio space. If you are not happy with your makeup trial or I feel I am not the perfect makeup artist for your wedding day, any deposits will be refunded less the trial fee.
TRAVEL FEE/PARKING
All bookings outside of Brisbane Metro will incur a travel fee. Travel is charged at $100 per hour of travel. The client is responsible in the event that any hotel and street parking fees are incurred as a result of the location of the booking. Please note that any location changes whilst getting ready will incur a fee of $100 and must be within 10kms of each other. For interstate and destination weddings, flights, accomodation, meals and car hire/ubers will be charged as an extra cost.
CHANGES/POSTPONING/CANCELLATION
No reduction in the number of makeup applications are allowed after initial quote is accepted. Any additional numbers, changes in location or timing on the day will be accommodated where possible. In the event that you need to postpone your wedding due a lockdown or Government restrictions your wedding will be moved to your new date if available. If there are no current restrictions in Queensland/New South Wales and you decide to postpone your wedding this will be classed a cancellation and a new booking fee will need to be paid to secure your new date.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Kate Devlin requires information on whether the client has allergies. In no event shall Kate Devlin have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and eyes.
PHOTOGRAPHS

MAKING A BOOKING
Booking a makeup application can be made up to 2 hours before if places are still available. Booking is fully secured upon email confirmation of payment of a deposit. Your appointment may be cancelled at anytime without a deposit. All makeup appointments require a non refundable $65 deposit, and require at least 48 hours notice to reschedule your booking, otherwise your deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee. If no deposit is taken at the time of booking your makeup appointment, then the cancellation fee still applies if less than 48 hours notice is given.
PAYMENT
All deposits are paid securely online through my online booking system. Payment types include direct deposit, eftpos, Afterpay or cash. Should direct deposit payment method be chosen, you are required to email katedevlinmakeup@gmail.com a payment receipt provided to you by your bank.
CANCELLED BOOKINGS
If for any reason you need to cancel your makeup application, please notify myself in accordance with the details listed in the services above. At that time, I will reschedule your booking.
TRAVEL
Travel fee is applicable when travelling to locations outside of Brisbane CBD for group bookings POA, All other appointments are conducted inside my home studio in Yeronga.
PARKING
In circumstances when parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when makeup services are being conducted, for example hotel parking and meter parking. There is street parking available for appointments at my studio in Yeronga.
